This measuring tool can be used to check the depth of a slot, dovetail and hole, use it to check the run-out of table saw arbor, check the flatness-straightness of the surface.
The digital indicator of the gauge has spring loaded travel of 1″ capacity and a depth range of up to 16″- 400mm; with the additional extension rods being attached, includes 5 interchangeable depth rods (1″, 2″, 3″, 4″ and 5″) which provide for a maximum of 16″ measuring.
