Arborists use rigging systems for various applications such as redirection, fair leading, or speedlining. The possibilities are endless, and the rigging system’s success relies on strategic placement of rigging rings.
The subtle yet crucial feature of rigging rings is their ability to work with the tree’s strength and structure. By managing rope angles and placement in and around the tree and rigging points, weak points can be avoided or reinforced. Rigging systems can place loads in compression on the tree, leading to safe and effective tree removal. With the help of rigging rings, riggers aloft can customize their rigging systems to suit their unique needs.
